It is virtually impossible to produce a pair of shoes, regardless of the origin of manufacture, without some form of carbon footprint – it’s about trying to minimise that footprint. Our shoes are entirely handmade which means there is no electrically (or any other non-renewable energy source) operated machinery involved in the production process.

We are an internet business which means no large chain of retail outlets to heat and light etc - our shoes are made to order which means we do not have to power a large warehouse for storage.

We are in the process of looking at ways of offsetting our carbon footprint generated from the air transportation of our shoes.
